>>So if I understand correctly, since the announcement of IBM's collaboration with NEON, the stock has gone to 80.<<
This is true, BUT there are a lot of other reasons that NEON has gone to 80. IMO, it is quite overvalued. We should also remember that NEON has about 2X as many shares O/S as HDIE so if HDIE were to have a market cap similar to NEON, it would be selling for about 40--not bad, but not 80.
>>Are you saying that if HDIE has the opportunity, to collaborate with someone like an IBM, meaning a SUNW or such, it would have the same opportunity? Specifically, since I understand, the options with HDIE are much greater than what NEON has to offer??????<<
Personally, I would far prefer a collaboration with IBM. I don't think a partnership with SUNW would have nearly the same effect, although I agree SUNW is a great company and will grow faster than IBM.
>>Specifically, since I understand, the options with HDIE are much greater than what NEON has to offer??????<<
Well, some people seem to think so, but they are clearly a minority and it certainly remains to be proven. At the moment, most people believe that NEON has more options and better products than HDIE. If they are wrong, then HDIE shareholders will do very nicely. But it remains to be demonstrated. Currently, the evidence is lacking. |
