Hey, who are you calling a pissant!! Oh- wait- never mind. Hi CB, was it a nice Thanksgiving? I loved your post---it has inspired me to try harder this month to look at the giftgiving differently. The problem of course is the number of gifts that need to be purchased for people whose heart and soul you either don't know, or don't want to. I've cut down a lot on that. But it wasn't without some nasty feelings. And I still love buying for the boys. They've already started mentioning their annual Mommybook stack. And CW on the way home got very pensive and said it had suddenly dawned on him that this was his last real Christmas home. So I'm determined to make it as full of traditions and memories as I can. I'd love to hear special traditions of the families here. Or personal traditions --I know I have things that are just for me that mean Christmas. On Thanksgiving we watched the Waltons marathon. I adore the Waltons. I'll have to dig up the takeoff I did on them last Christmas here. My sister-in-law and I got all teary about them. Pissant Penni
