Excellent observation, Zeev! That was precisely the inspiring motive behind the rabbinical hatred in the Babylonian Talmud. The rabbinical ignorance about the Son of God and the power of his Cross led these rabbinical fable peddlers into an orgy of hatred against both Christ and the Christian people. It was that very dark ignorance about Christ that motivated their irrational myths in the Talmud.
After God destroyed the Temple in 70A.D., biblical Judaism was destroyed. Rejecting God's Kingdom and fulfilled Judaism in Christ, these rebellious rabbis invented a new "religion" based upon the ignorance of their insecure hatred. This is the pseudo-Judaism we have with us today.
Sadlly, their dark and ignorant ideas about Christ has become the identifying mark of modern pseudo-Judaism
