Regarding the drillers. It was really quite telling what was going on Friday. I had a short order for DO and it would NOT get filled for 3 hours! I've never experienced such a long period without an uptick for a stock I've followed. I liked that so I cancelled the short and bought some Jan $25 puts.

Sat up last night slightly pensive about the tremendous amount of profit I failed to grab when all our stocks had hit that Oct retest. Cisco at $43 (now $80), Home Dept at $35 (now $50), etc., etc. Did anyone here have the foresight to see the rebound for what it was and take advantage of it?
I'd like to know and discover where I went wrong and how I can prevent it in the future. My great move was to sell all my puts back then, but the mistake (and a big one) was to rebuy them about 2 weeks later. Ouch! Cut my losses, but still... I do know one thing...I was so convinced that we were headed into a bear market that I was blinded by my own perception.

Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving.
