<<Please don't shoot the messenger.>> On the contrary, I appreciate your effort. All I can say is that many stores in those same chains do have Rugrats on the shelf. I never like how close THQ cuts it some times. I mean, NWO almost missed the Thanksgiving weekend last year, and titles with movie tie-ins always come out a bit late. Would it have hurt to have Rugrats out a week before the movie?
Here are some excellent channel checks from the MF board. Note that one TRU in Chicago has 89 copies of Rugrats PSX in its initial shipment. (!!!!)

I thought I go back to the TRU that I went to on Wednesday. Revenge was 35, now 24. Rugrat was 42, now 31. I now saw 12 Rugrat for the Game Boy. I don't know how many they got. This TRU has a very big Game Boy section and usually carries alot of THQ games. Mulan's initial order was in excess of 40 games, so I surprised to see only 12 (unless alot were sold). By the way saw only 7 Quest tickets. There were over 20 when I last checked about 2 weeks ago.
TRU in Hawthorne were sold out of both WCW games for N64. They had 10 Rugrat for Game Boy. They had 34 Rugrat for PSX.
Also went to Best Buy in Hawthorne. They had 8 Revenge, 9 Rugrat for PSX and 4 original NWO. Saw about 4 Quest, down from about 12 a few weeks ago. 2 Brunswick for PC and no BASS. Still had about 4 Devil Dice and 2 G Darius.

Best Buy, Little Rock- New shipment of Revenge in....3 left in store-selling "very, very well" Rugrats-23 Playstation in two locations, 10 Gameboy WCW Nitro 12- doesn't seem to be moving very well here. WCW/NWO world tour- 16 after reorder sometime this week-still selling quickly (I think some parents must be confusing it for Revenge :>. One copy apeice of Ghost, Granstream saga. G Darius 4 copies, down from 6 a few days ago, 6 Brunswick for psx, plenty of Brunswick for PC, plenty Bass Masters...no Redjack in sight.

While out of town this week, there was an insert in the USA Today, "GamePro 1998 Holiday Game Shopping Guide" 14 pages, color.
On the N64 page, in the same block as Zelda, Quest 64 was advertised as follows "Beginning role-playing gamers may want to give Quest 64 a try before they move on to the advanced gameplay of The Legend of Zelda. Within a typical hero-with-a-mission storyline, Quest 64 introduces the player to some elements common to traditional RPG's, such as building up the main character's levels in order to increase his magic powers. This Quest eases newbies into the RPG fold." Graphics, Sound,Control and Fun Factor all rated 3.5..........................This was the only THQ game featured...............

Just stopped by TRU (north side of Chicago) briefly. There were 89 tickets for Rugrats PSX. I don't know when they were stocked or how many were sold so far because the people working there are clueless. But 89 tickets is huge at this location.
