Anand's benchmarks are problematical and inconclusive. Why did he use a new benchmark making comparisons to any previous results impossible? The benchmark "emphasizes multitasking." How ridiculous! How often do you recalculate a million cell spreadsheet while your word processor is doing a search and replace and you are shooting space aliens in a window? The benchmarks used a "special BIOS" of unknown quality. The results were inconsistent with themselves and common sense. What does "more sensitive to heat" mean? I'm afraid we'll have to wait to draw any conclusions about the CXT core. Petz
