I think you should confine your comments to things about which you know something, in order to avoid looking naive. IBM does not just push their own software, and Microsoft has been known to compete with its customers. IBM's service business is quite "rosy."

It makes sense for IBM to recommend their own products - but it will NOT be in the interest of other service companies to recommend IBM if another product is available (especially a well known one like MSFT). This is very logical. MSFT does not compete in this business to the best of my knowledge. This will lead to their success - mass productions. My point is that it will hurt IBM not put them out of business. May not be good for their stock.
