Something different: I checked an account this morning with Fidelity and on Friday I purchased a few shares of AMEN. For accounting purposes, they reported the closing price of AMEN at $6.00, it's day low. (The actual closing price was 20 7/8). The reasoning they told me was to restrict the equity in accounts due to these crazy swings. Now AMEN is not marginable according to Fidelity but I'm still scratching my head!

I only have 500 shares but the equity difference was $7500.00
