I just got in today. Spent 5 days with the in-laws. It really is a difficult thing watching parents bury their child. Heart-rending. Thankfully, the deceased was a well-loved man, and the family is very well regarded. Thus, all 3 sessions were well-attended, as was the funeral. This provided tremendous support for the family, and kept their mind off their loss. In addition, it helped put some things in perspective for me and my wife. Previously, we'd been feuding about my pursuit of my own company. She'd wanted me to find a steady paycheck. Recognizing the brevity of our lives here, she has decided to allow me to follow my path...(me being selfish here, but it is an example of the things we learn during tragic moments). Finally, thanks to all of you who sent along condolences. Though you don't know me, my family, or the deceased...any and all support is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
