Victor...... I'm beginning to become concerned with the fact that CPQ can't seem to break out of this trading range. I had hopes that 34 would provide a base for a move to higher ground, but I perceive recent activity as weak and am beginning to think that we may go back to the 30-31 area, regardless of what the market in general does. A long time back I said 35-38 would be our Christmas '98 close, but now I'm even beginning to doubt that we can do that. I also thought that we would hit 50 late in the 1st quarter or very early in Q2, but now that looks doubtful to me, too. I also am beginning to feel less certain that .37 is doable in this quarter. .25 and a good forward-looking statement would probably lock us in at the low 30 area til we could finally have a quarter that would meet or beat estimates. I say we languish one quarter longer than previously was the consensus. If, then, someone cares to have a "guess the earnings" game for Q4, they can put me in @ .25. I tend to be a little more conservative than others on this thread. I hope that's the case here. El
