Ted: I have just had the pleasure of discovering the following posting on the VSE:

"MARKATECH INDUSTRIES CORPORATION ("MKD")
NOTICE TYPE: Suspend
NOTICE DATE: November 27, 1998

Further to the VSE Notice dated November 17, 1998, the shares of Markatech Industries Corporation (the 'Company') will be suspended from trading effective at the close of trading November 27, 1998, pursuant to Rule C.1.05. The Exchange is continuing to review the Company's affairs including circumstances related to the repricing and exercise of stock options and to certain related party trading activities.

Members are prohibited from trading in the securities of the Company during the period of the suspension."

What is going on? What is the difference between a halt and a suspension? Does this mean MKD is de-listed? What is Rule C.1.05? Lots of questions but no answers. If a suspension and a halt are basically the same thing, why bother issuing a suspension on top of a halt. Hope you can shed some light on what's happening. The silver lining is getting tarnished.

Rahim
