Bob, you raise an interesting question with this discussion of out-of-body experiences. I don't believe in Christianity for several reasons, but one of them is definitely because I don't believe in miracles or magic. But if atheists, agnostics, pagans and Christians are all having out-of-body experiences, it is difficult to argue that miracles and magic do not exist.

So how can religion be refuted, using logic? Anyone can address this--I am interested in different opinions.

What occurs to me is that out-of-body experiences have absolutely nothing to do with miracles or magic or belief systems, but occur totally within the being, just as Jesus suggested in Thomas' Gospel that everything religious happened within the self.
