In regards to using Stockwiz, I strongly recommend you consider this a learning experience, that may be "throw-away".

Michel's comments about his experience with StockWiz are confirmed by my own. At the end of 1997 and beginning of 1998, I saw many people writing desperate pleas for help on StockWiz' bulletin board (mostly users supporting users), and venting their frustration that emails to StockWiz went unanswered. Perhaps the company had some internal problems at that time. I'm not saying that they are still behaving this way... You'll have to decide this for yourself.

I do use StockWiz for DOS (for the database), but it's because the database (free) does what I need, and allows me to write basic scans. I've had to learn the scripting language through experimentation, and looking at other examples. I don't use their data. Responsiveness of the data vendor is a critical factor for me, since problems can and do arise.
