This announcement follows Novell's licensing of the Java technology from Sun Microsystems Inc -- announced in March at BrainShare, Novell's annual technical developer conference. The NetWare Software Development Kit for the Java Platform will enable developers to build a new class of network-aware applications that will make NetWare the premier platform for intranet applications. Java logic can now be distributed to the server, leveraging the efficiency and power of existing networks while increasing application performance.
