Hello all, may I offer a few thoughts on the NM CD confusion?

My understanding of the NM - CD arrangement:

In this case, CD is the "Web Presence Provider" for NM. To me, that means that CD is providing the ability to set up shop on the web to NM; they provide the backoffice/technical/internet support for NM's site. NM provides products and services to it's customers through this site.

I think of it like leasing a storefront in the local stripmall(only better). Someone else builds, maintains, and provides for traffic/parking to a location that you can occupy and call "Your Store". The only money the strip mall owner gets is the proceeds from your rent payments.

I hope this helps a little. Long on NM (for now).
