If anyone wants to know the exact date of the impending internet stock bubble collapse, I'll let you in on a secret.

The first trading day of 1999.

Of course, the people who will really make a killing are the people who sell the first trading day PRIOR to that. The taxes they will have to pay 4 months from now will be nothing compared to the losses they would sustain if they held until the beginning of 1999, because all these crazy retail investors are going to sit on their insane profits until they can hope to sell them without immediately having to pay capital gains taxes on them.
