*AV* NVLS/LRCX

Steve - look at my recent post under General Lithography and you will see why I am reluctant to give an entry price. There have been gains in these 2 stocks and I wouldn't add to my own position in NVLS. I would be tempted to buy more LRCX because if rumor #2 does become reality (and even I am becoming a beleiver), LRCX will be the beneficiary of a merger. This is not based on it being lower priced but based on name recognition. NVLS is more highly thought of in the CVD arena and could give AMAT a run for their money. LRCX, on the other hand would not fare as well against AMAT, even though I think very highly of LRCX and think highly of their etchers. The merger play would be LRCX if we want to postulate..

Sorry about TNCR but I honestly did not see the KLAC/TNCR merger when I spoke of these 2 companies. That was a bonanza I was not anticipating.
