Elwood and all: I am a bit surprised at estimate of .25 and .36 There is no indication that I have seen that it will be below .37 and the company is comfortable with that figure. Realistically .37 should be the base for estimates. My estimate of .41 was posted a couple of weeks before Piper Jaffrey estimated .42 after they had met with management. I think the whisper number will be between .40 and .42, but I will not be surprised if results are .43 and .44,

rudedog has given a much more informed caveat for not assuming all DEC's previous revenues and margins will transfer over. I noted that DEC was rumoured to have lost hundreds of clients nervous about the CPQ takeover, before the merger was consummated. On the other hand let us remember that DEC was accretive even for the two weeks which counted for the June quarter and saved that quarter from being expressed as a loss.
