Waldo Thanks for the DINES link. I noticed an interesting statement in there that one hears from time to time: "The Internet is still mainly within the ken of "nerds" rather than out in the world's public." He is definitely underestimating the progress the internet has made with the masses and it appears that WEB TV may bring even more of the techno peasants into the fold. IMO when internet shopping and cruising is as easy as using your TV and you don't even have to own a PC, the Home Shopping Network can kiss their market share goodbye and BID.COM and the other internet based shopping/auction sites can starting counting their money!
