Jim,
No one yet has enough information on how and perhaps who will be running NCI. For now it seems that the combination of Woody, R. Putnam, Fred Faulk, will be major forces in co.. A lot of the sales force is now gone and the ranks are much thinner. Staffing at NCI now seems much more reflective of an OEM co..

I direct all readers to view the Olympus web site at (www.olympusamerica.com). Once there please review the D1000 handheld, removable flash, audio recorder, with insert, edit, pcmcia download to a PC, 2 speeds, a 2 & 4 mb Intel miniature flash card and an LCD screen. This was shown at the recent CES and is a functional, not necessarily in appearance, near replica of the forthcoming PCP2000 with a voicelink. Olympus will release this product to the consumer this spring. It would not surprise me if Olympus is the camera co. mentioned by Bob Root in the teleconference in May that was working on an agreement with NCI. I believe Olympus will soon be named as a licensee of ours and that when they release the D1000 we will have royalties or licensing fees from each unit sold. If this unfolds over the near term, this may well be a good example of how much was accomplished while satisfying non-disclosure agreements with our licensees. If Olympus has signed, like Lanier just recently did, it will certainly put the pressure on Dictaphone and Philips to follow.

The name of our web site is now back to norriscomm.com vs. ncivoice.com. Jim previously noted less references to the name, NCI, in press releases vs. the name, Norris communications.

Best to all:
