Len,

The price drop might have something to do with the possible sale of SyQuest assets: who buys what and for how much.

The bearish case could be that one of Iomega's competitors (Imation, Sony) might be the purchaser. Another bearish case is that Iomega is the purchaser and might have paid too much.
