The big boys like Merrill don't have a clue that the secondaries are in play. At least not yet. I'm a m-l client and they don't have research nor expertise.
My guess, from their perspective, is that they'll make 10-15% on their stuff and be happy. By the time they get into the play, most of it is gone. The exceptions of course are aol, yahoo etc.
