<< KIDE has world-wide marketing rights, except in Japan, for all spin off products to Ninetendo Video games. >> KIDE is the exclusive licensing agency of merchandise (toys, clothing, ...) related to Nintendo video games, outside of Asia. Exceptions: There are some spinoff products, like the the Pikachu virtual pet, that KIDE does not participate in. Strategy guides may be another area where KIDE has no rights (anyone know about this?). I was looking at the Viz. Pokemon comics and videos. I assume that KIDE gets a percentage here? Anyone seen any Zelda merchandise yet?
