Alski, that's me - irrationally exuberant!!! Not!!!

I got Tom Dorsey's book Point and Figure Charting, and subscribed to the web-site. There is a free 30 day trial. But I'll warn you. Read the book and follow the thread a little before getting the freebie. I wasted mine because I didn't know what I was looking at. It is just another way of looking a stock charts, eliminating a lot of noise.

There are other books and web-sites pertaining to P&F. I'm not pushing DWA. That one just seemed better cause Dorsey contributes to the thread from time to time, making the whole atmosphere seem a bit more personal.

I wouldn't use P&F alone. In conjunction with standard charts and TA, it broadens ones views with the supply & demand of a stock, sector and market as a whole.

And the people on the thread are great at answering questions and helping you out. I was very doubtful at first. But, I'm sold.
