Thank you very much for the information. The point I raised about the climate in Argentina for mining compared to Chile has more to do with the inflation rate in each country and the potential cost of labor which later obviously has to get in to the cost of bringing the gold to the market. As I recall, the inflation rate in 1995 in Chile was about 5.5-6 percent and trending down. While the Menem government in Argentina has in the past been aggressively working to control inflation, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that the 1996 rate was substantially above Chile's (perhaps double) and I think trending up.

Notwithstanding the above, I believe Argentina holds very good prospects for mining, and Aranlee with its talented management is getting my interest if not yet my investment.
