Msft's previous quarter to quarter earning growth is about 10% in average, and from MSFT's last advise to up beat the earning of this current quarter , and assume a 11%
growth in earning in the last quarter of 1998, then the earning announcement for the comming Jan will be 0.563 * 1.11 = $0.62493. So looking forward for six more month, the moving average of four quarter earning , i.e from Jaune 1998 to June 1999 should be 0.62493 * 4 = $2.5, with 60 PE, the stock price in Jan of 1999
should be around $150. Of course , if the earning is much better than expected, we may see a PE back to 70 before April of 1999 !!!!
