I don't think that China would ever be like the US due to cultural differences, but I hope, in 20 years, China can have a system similar to what Taiwan has today.

I don't have any idea what type of government would eventually evolve, may be a quasi demo-commu system driven by capitalism. However, I sure hope they won't end up like Taiwan, which really is just buying time before they become the next SAR.
