What I would like to see, far more than a filter button, is the ability to download a series of messages as a text thread. I then can quickly scan through the messages, skipping the ones that are chaff, and concentrating on the ones of interest. Reading messages one by one, waiting for the server to deliver each one, is incredibly irritating and inefficient. It seems to be a universal design of web-based bulletin boards. It amazes me that we put up with it. S
