I see I missed a lot last night. a few points and I'm done with this subject. People are smart enough to make up there own mind.
1) As far back as I can remember Party has placed blame for various problems this stock has on "ex-Simmers", he's the one who became so fluent with the word. Not once, until last night, has he singled out Bob Colvin. Its always been "ex-Simmers". I may have made the mistake of thinking I too could use this term in a general context just as he so many times has.
2) PT almost begged me to bring out the Wired articles. I don't recall ever having posted those articles or any Wired article prior to that. I may have but I don't recall it. In essence, the post that started all this would have been ignored on the most part and by most people if Party hadn't zeroed in on it and started finding grammatical problems with it.
3) The original intent of the post was to bring up the possibility of why ESVS may have been de-listed. It had nothing to do with bashing ZULU. Of course, to Party, one is bashing ZULU if they don't capitalize every letter in its name. Again, it only turned into a bashing post after Party began having his brain orgasm.
4) No one else jumped in until Party started spewing off the wall remarks and "splitting hairs". I kind of think he had this Sunday Night Free-for-All planned out in advance. Watching and waiting for an error, any error that he could build into a mountain of useless bullchit.
5) I stand behind my original post. If you want to substitute Bob Colvin's name for ex-simmers that is fine. If you want to substitute "he" for "they" that is fine also. I was only using ex-simmers in a general sense meaning one or all, just as Party has throughout this ordeal. I really don't think it will change a thing though.
In conclusion, as I said before, I still hold stock in ZULU. I did not set out to start the melee' that occured last night. It was taken and blown way out of proportion by Party. He knows this, I know this and I think everyone else knows this.
Do I apologize for the post? NO. Absolutely not.
However, I do apologize for not having the foresight to know that someone would be so stupid as to hold a post on this board to the same grammitical standards as one would a great literary work.
I am sorry that something I posted was the reason many of you had to put on waders to get through Party's bullshit.
If you want to thump on me, go ahead. But I think it is quite obvious from last night, just who has the squeaky rocker around here.
