Ken:
You're not a doomsayer but have the same conservative concerns that we all have.

However, in this crazy market when stocks like Amazon, Booksamillion and Yahoo, which have no earning and a stock valuation in the billions, there are those of us who look for quality companies with a steady track record. Wal-Mart is probably the best at this.

It is tempting to take my profits (I got in at 23) but where would I then invested the proceeds in something with as much quality earnings as WMT and hopefully such little downside risk? Would I buy WMT at these levels? Probably not. But the point is that I am sitting on cash and haven't found any new stocks that I feel comfortable enough to invest in at these levels. I guess patience is a virtue!

Anyway, enjoy the ride. This stock is alot of fun and with a 90%+ return so far in 1998 on top of a 70%+ return last year, boring looks good.

Good luck!
