I feel like I am agreeing with you, but having a tough time getting my point out there. I would rather have cash too. But the tooth fairy didn't deliver last night. <g> Can you accept as a given that many of us cannot just say I want to have cash and get it? Now given that, I would rather have a drawer full of several credit cards from several different financial institutions as an insurance policy. Spreads exposure to more than one so if that beep "invalid card" comes, there are others. meanwhile, save like crazy and payoff debt.
