NW,

It just seems so unclear right now, what direction oil in general is going? I love it! But, with the XON MOB deal, what are they saying? I want to own some, but not just yet. I noticed a Texaco station here in Westerly (company owned) just switched to Getty w/7-11 store. Kind of confusing to me, since Texaco just opened a mega store along I-395, basically out in no man's land.

Mobil's in MA, CT, RI are so over-priced to rest of competitors. I am just mixed up and don't know what to believe. just heard today, more fuel economy on way for Toyota and smaller cars. Can't see how the major's can make money at all, right now.

The thing is "the public is realizing (gas is all the same, anyways" doesn't matter much where you buy it. As of end of year, all stations will have new fuel tanks and water problem and or quality and octane are the same.

When I was in FL, I bought a new Honda 130hp 4 cycle outboard for my boat. They say, (Honda) it will be the last one I ever buy. Expected to last 2 tp 3 times longer as todays outboards. Super quiet, just like a in-board engine. Biggest problem people have is whether is running or not. So they turn the starter again and grind it.

I change the oil after first 20 hours and then every 125 hours thereafter. I use my boat about 40-50 hours a year!
