ADVISORY/Palm Computing Makes Announcement

Palm Computing, Inc., a 3Com company, will hold a press conference on Wednesday, December 2, at 10:30 AM Pacific Standard Time in Santa Clara, Calif. to announce a next-generation handheld organizer based on the Palm Computing platform and a new way of accessing information on the Internet.

Janice Roberts, acting president of Palm Computing and senior vice president of business development for 3Com Corp. will speak at the press conference Wednesday morning.
