morry, your advice on options is very good. I've been buying options on a regular basis for the past two or three weeks with help from a full-service broker. I am really amazed at how many things he takes into consideration when he considers whether we should buy or sell. The first thing he told me was never "get greedy." So far his advice has worked well, although I've found it hard to learn that I have to make split-second decisions on his advice. When I've wavered, the stock has usually turned against me, even if its for only a short period of time. Apart from having a tidy income coming in weekly, the important thing I've learned in buying and selling options is that your emotions play less and less a part of your strategy. (That's good for me, since I've only been investing for a couple of years.) Now I look at options as just pieces of paper that I have to trade. So dealing with options has been a very positive experience for me. I also like the fast pace. Do you ever deal in commodity futures? Thanks again for great advice on options.
