Baldwin, no I do not assume myopically that everyone's is "like my account." I take that as an insult. No your full ML account number identifier is NOT merely 8 digits. No, I didn't mean to say that positively the type "2" would be along the left side of the page. It might be there. Another place to look is on your CONFIRMATION form sent after each trade. Even when a monthly statement has been dummied down and "made clean looking" for the retail customer's use, the confirmation form USUALLY will have the Type indication. If you are interested in educating yourself, insulting people on the internet is not the best way to learn. Try spending 5 minutes and call your brokerage and ask to "speak with the compliance dept." Tell them you want to know if you have your DCTC shares in a type "1" or a type "2" account. If they should say they are in a type "2" account, you may read him what I said about the OTC-BB and listen to his response and report back here to share the information with others. Colin
