Thanks for your post, I too received a call from a Broad Street broker in NY pushing Enzo and OakTech on the basis of rumor of takeover or
buyout. When I asked him about their line of business, he could not
tell me much about the company and when asked if he was playing this as a momentum type of play,he agreed and said his plan was to exit at the 26-7 range on the news. I took an immediate position with him and
another with an additional broker putting a stop loss one point below
purchase price. As everyone knows it dropped 3 points on no news and
I am no longer holding that position. We do not get Jerry in Ohio so
I have no concept of what he does or how good his predictions are. I
think caveat emptor still applies in this business and it is far better to miss the wedding than attend the funeral as a NJ friend of
mine use to say. Good luck to all and happy investing and beware of
triple witching Friday.
