Anyway, I think he's considered one of the more knowledgeable analysts in the sector. Generally I think the buy recommendations of brokers don't mean much, but I think their personal positions probably are more meaningful. I would be really interested in knowing if he has sold a position in PRIA, and whether he has also sold positions in other semi equip stocks recently.

if you pull up the .pdf, you'll note that the full lehman report indicates disclosure "C" only and not "G" which does mean the analyst has a position. here is their complete legend:

"Disclosure Legend: A-Lehman Brothers Inc. managed or co-managed within the past three years a public offering of securities for this company. B-An employee of Lehman Brothers Inc. is a director of this company. C-Lehman Brothers Inc. makes a market in the securities of this company. G-The Lehman Brothers analyst who covers this company also has position in its securities."

finally, you can view lehman's most recent semiconductor and semi-equipment stock write-ups here:

lehman.com

a cursory glance indicates that mr. white does not hold positions in AMAT, ETEC, KLIC, PRIA, or SFAM.
