robert-- sorry to butt in... packet based voice? anything like voice over IP? i have a list of companies that make IP telephony equipment somewhere, mostly the gateways from an IP network into the PSTN. very interesting stuff. i would tell him to write a business plan, but it wont do a lot of good...the VCs dont understand the technology, and its a real business, as opposed to a book store and a search engine<G>, so they arent really interested. but he is right...if anyone actually starts to deploy this equipment, and gets some real financial (read not credit card) backing, they will do very well. good luck to all, trey
