This was sent to me privately... I am not a member of SI, hence the need for this private message. I used to work for Newbridge Networks. I spoke to several of my friends who still work there. They said that all the buzz about a takeover is bogus. Terry Matthews (Founder of Newbridge) is adamant about not selling out. Newbridge has very good products but due to bad management decisions the stock went no where. New management is being brought in. Buy the stock based on fundamentals and Newbridge market share. If you buy thinking Newbridge is a takeover target you will get burnt. You have my permission to post this on the Silicon bulletin board.
