There is a story in today's Variety regarding CBS' win in TV households. I didn't read the whole article.

Also, regarding today's CBS stock action relative to the DOWS woes. I recall in late August '98 when the DOW tanked and yet CBS was up on the initial strength of their Infinity IPO announcement. Then two days later CBS joined the rest of the stocks as the DOW slid toward 7400ish. Today's DOW and NASCAQ both ended the day at their lows. If Brazil doesn't pull themselves out of their mess then what ? Japan has to show some progress in actual GNP, if not then what ? It's not CBS that worries me it's the entire market gyrations that keep me from full participation. Did anyone read some comments from George Soros regarding his outlook for stocks ?

Thanks
