Whoaaa, joe. Think again. COMS closed at 39 1/8 on Feb. 25, 1997. The announcement was made after the market closed that day: 3com.com I remember it well, purchased USRX for my IRA less than a week earlier. Think you'll have to agree the stock price of 3COM was closer to its current price than $100, or even its high. The only way they may get away with a big merger is if COMS gets up to $100. Then again, that's about where it was when it bought out USRX. o~~~ O
