What a "sobering" experience today was, my stop limit kicked in, but I only sold 2,200 of my remaining 3,000 shares.(at $53)
The "BONEHEAD" award of the day goes to me, for buying into the frenzy at the open on DBCC (bought in at $14 and averaged down to $11).
You are right, Tom! todays humbling experience kind of changes the landscape on the UBID IPO.
With all this negative press (Barrons, Reuters and CBS marketwatch) it will be interesting to see where Merrill will open UBID.
Interesting today, however, was that William Blair was buying while everyone else was selling (huge volume buying).
REMEMBER WILLIAM BLAIR IS CO-UNDERWRITER TO THIS OFFERING!
Again Tom, my hat off to you, nice cover at $38 !
