Revy Home Centers Inc. add IBS 2000 Load Sharing Connectors to Product Line

Luxor Industrial Corporation is pleased to announce that Revy Home Centers Inc. have added the patented IBS 2000 load sharing connectors to their product line. The Langley, BC based Revy chain operates 55 home centers in Western Canada and Ontario. Revy's annual sales of Cdn $800 million make it one of Canada's three largest building products retailers.

The new program with Revy calls for the immediate introduction of Luxor's IBS 2000 connectors to twelve contractor oriented stores in Western Canada. The contractor store introductions are to be followed by product placements at approximately seventeen locations that service both contractors and the retail trade. Revy has placed an initial stocking order of more than twenty-two hundred IBS 2000 units to service the product introductions. The order includes IBS 2000 connectors for both I-joist and conventional lumber applications.

Support for the introduction of Luxor's IBS 2000 connectors has come from Revy's technical department which services the engineered wood products requirements for thirty-three of the chain's stores. Orders for both retrofit and new homes were placed following a factory tour and a meeting with Luxor's engineering staff. Luxor has conducted product introduction seminars for Revy's contractor sales staff at three stores in the Greater Vancouver area. These sessions resulted in immediate sales of the IBS 2000 connectors at the participating stores. Further training sessions for Revy staff and product introduction to builders at the contractor stores will commence in December.
