Sorry to tell you this, but an article in the Winter issue 95/96 of
Bus World reveals that a fill-up of hydrogen for Ballard 40' fuel
cell bus costs US$250, compared with US$72 for a diesel fuel fill-up.
This technology is incredibly expensive. The provincial government and
British Columbia should temper their hope for the Ballard Bus. And so
should you.. as long as costs are not realistic for nowadays applications
in a world where governments are not in a position to spend a whole
lot more because of environmental requirements.
Have you taken this aspect into consideration when you started to buy
Ballard's shares?
