TO THE NOVICES....I hear alot of talk about shorting internet stocks tomorrow, some talking about going long, most others daytrading. As a relatively new trader, who has made all the mistakes I had been warned I would make, and has managed to lose money over the last 2 months....take a little advice from me...Don't touch these stocks for several days. Don't take out your calculator at the end of each day and look at the stocks that soared that you didn't buy and dream of what could have been. All that money you missed out on. Because when you start thinking about what could have been...it is almost always too late! Most beginners don't have the tools to play with these stocks. Believe me...when you push the sell button on your PC as you watch your pick rocket the wrong way, your on line broker won't get you out of that sucker anywhere near where you needed to be. The internets could run tomorrow or tank..who knows. If you gamble to win big, you risk losing big. Stick with what you know, lay off the margin, and stick with the fundamentals. When you start chasing instant riches....the only way to get there is to gamble. I love what happened today because maybe we can see some real valuations here in the days to come, and start making some money on these stocks without rolling the dice.
