Hi Ken, thanks for responding. Just one short follow-up question, actually two: 1) what does it mean "niche pattern", what is a dumper or gainer 2) I always thought that quick decision-making according to pre-set rules or scenarios is a must for a consistent day-trading - based on your response I would think that you are actually a discretionary trader, i.e., somebody who makes trading decisions based on other-than-quantifiable data. Would you agree? Could you please comment? Your contribution to this thread is greatly appreciated. Peter
