Intel to acquire iCat

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov 30 (Reuters) - Chip maker Intel Corp. said Monday it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire privately held iCat Corp.

No terms were provided.

The transaction will be made through a subsidiary of Intel and is expected to be completed before the end of the year, Intel said in a statement.

ICat, based in Seattle, provides e-commerce software and services.
