RE : Craig & k7 to alpha upgrade path Dont get me wrong, I hoped to that the alpha would be a good and working upgrade solution for the K7, but I have heard rumours and some less vague articles who said it might not be possible to support both cpu's in the same (basic) chipset. I understood the North Bridge is quite a bit different, and a little more than just a bios upgrade would be needed to support alpha. I hope it is possible, but haven't seen any confirmation yet.
