Unfortunately I know nothing about how Sematech works, although I understand that it's rather influential.

To anyone who cares to take a shot at this, I'm wondering what kind of stock action we could expect if one or two candidates are "eliminated" either (1) leaving X-ray standing or (2) taking it out. The real question actually is this; will Sematech's meeting have any influence on the stock if either 1 or 2 occurs? IOW, how influential will be the outcome of the conference? My question isn't well phrased, but I hope it's clear.
