SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 1, 1998--Callidus
Software, the business performance systems (BPS) company, announced
today the completion of its senior executive team with the addition of
David Port, vice president of sales, and Michael Tidd, vice president
of finance and chief financial officer (CFO).
Port joins Callidus Software from Neuron Data, a leading provider
of business rules automation software, where he was vice president of
marketing, business development and international distribution.
Michael Tidd most recently was vice president of finance and CFO with
the Corporate Store, an e-commerce start-up.
Port and Tidd will play strategic roles in growing Callidus
Software's business within the emerging market for BPS software, a new
class of enterprise applications that improve corporate financial
performance.

bottom-line results, will play a highly strategic role in optimizing a
company's financial performance.

Seasoned High-Tech Sales, Finance Management Executives

David Port brings two decades of high-tech sales and management
experience. Most recently he was vice president of marketing, business
development and international distribution at Neuron Data. Prior to
Neuron Data, he served as vice president of business development at
Vitria Technology.
Port also has held sales and management positions at Gupta Corp.
(now Centura Software Corp.), Sun Microsystems Inc. and Syntelligence.
He has an M.S. in engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and
B.S. in international business from the Wharton School of Business.

Michael Tidd has 17 years of experience in public accounting and
corporate finance. Most recently he was vice president of finance and

senior financial executive positions at Visa International, including
vice president, treasury and vice president, procurement and planning.
He also held various financial positions within KPMG Peat
Marwick. Tidd has a B.A. in business economics from the University of
California, Santa Barbara and is a certified public accountant (CPA)
in California.

Reed Taussig, president and chief executive officer, has spent
over 20 years in the computer hardware and software industry. Most
recently he was president and CEO of inquiry.com. He also has held
senior sales and marketing management positions in leading technology
companies, including Gupta (now Centura Software) and Unify Corp.
Phil Ressler, senior vice president of marketing, has 20 years of
experience developing marketing strategy and building companies in the
business-to-business and consumer fields. He has served as the senior
marketing executive at inquiry.com, Continuus Software, Gupta and
Nantucket Corp., and was the senior communications executive for Lotus
Development Corp.
Rob Gillette, vice president of engineering and chief technical
officer, has 18 years of experience in software engineering,
technology consulting and information technology. He has been the
principal architect and lead technologist for companies such as
Shopper's Express, Sybase Inc., MCI and Comsat.
Larry Parish, vice president of business development, has over 30
years of senior sales and management experience in software and
information technology at several firms, including
Informatics/Sterling Software, Aion Corp. and Gupta.
Daniel Welch, vice president of client services, has 19 years of
experience in selling and supporting Fortune 1000 companies, serving
in senior executive sales, service management and technology
consulting roles at Brightware Inc., Inference Corp. and Unify.
